Private schools or Parochial? , Private Schools with the rich brats pay teachers well, Parochial schools generally won't and also won't follow State curriculum. Generally class sizes are smaller and so so their work load.

MAYBE THEY STILL WANT TO TEACH AT THEIR SALARY:

Fewer students to teach. The teachers are better. The school has less money in their budget however.
Just because someone is paid more money, it doesn't always mean they are better. One lawyer charges more money than the other, but doesn't do as well as the other.

Actually, the students don't perform "fine". Studies have shown that students who attend private schools with demographics similar to the public schools in their area perform slightly worse than public schools do. Glad to have presented the facts to you. Google is your friend! Please learn to use it.

Less government interference, I reckon.

Private school teachers are in it for the students and for students to achieve goals.
Public school teachers are always complaining about not being paid enough......to me - they are being paid way too much. When I was in school; we NEVER had days off so a teacher could grade papers...........the teachers took the papers home, at night, and graded them. Most were lucky to even get the opportunity to teach. They taught the basics and encouraged students to do their best or go above and beyond.

Judging by our private-schooled pols, like Bush and Romney, they don't teach sh*t. They are just opportunities network and acquire guanxi. The more anglo-phile joints probably teach the boys to enjoy being floggoed and buggered.

Public school teachers and administrators are not as limited by ridiculous government regulations as private schools are so they can produce better education, even though they can’t spend as much on resources. They are more efficient.

Private school teachers salaries are drawn from the tuition paid by students.
Since far fewer students are in private schools the teachers salaries are less.
