If we bomb Venus with alcali explosives, wouldn't that turn the acid athmosphere into salt, which will them fall down and solve that whole?

barometric issue once and for all?

    I once read a strategy to terraform Venus as follows: We would go to Mercury and use the abundant solar energy there to electrolyse the rocks there to make Calcium and Magnesium metal. These metals could be continually sent to Venus via a Hohmann transfer orbit as they are produced on Mercury. Upon entering the Venusian atmosphere, they would react with the CO2 according to the following chemical reaction: 2Ca + 3CO2--> 2CaCO3 + C, with the same reaction also for Magnesium. If enough Calcium and Magnesium is sent to Venus, all of the atmospheric CO2 will be converted to carbonate rock, and Venus will be left with a ~3Bar Nitrogen atmosphere. Some of the CO2 could be held back for conversion to O2, thus rendering the Venusian atmosphere fully breathable for humans and other higher life forms. The North and South poles of Venus would become very Earthlike and would be fully habitable. 

    Our early Earth is thought to have had as much as a 50Bar CO2 atmosphere, which was nearly completely converted to carbonate rock during our first Billion years or so. The Alps mountains and the Grand Tetons of Wyoming, among others, are composed of solid carbonate rock, (including sea life fossils found at their summits!).

    In the movie, "The Chronicles of Riddick", most of the movie takes place on a partially terraformed Venus-like planet called "Crematoria".

    The atmosphere of Venus is 97% CO2, not acid.  The acid is H2SO4, and exists as clouds that are 20 miles and more above the surface of the planet.  Breaking down the acid would do little to make the planet habitable since the carbon dioxide would be unaffected.

    Well, no... it wouldn't deal with the CO2...  You'd be removing some of the sulfuric acid, but... the 900 degrees, and 90 times Earth atmospheric pressure thing would remain...

    Bomb Venus?with what? Sulfuric acid decant turn into halite or rock salt, a.k.a sodium chloride. Sodium and sulfur are 2 very different elements. Your chemistry is way off. You need to retake high school chemistry or Chemistry 101 and 102.
