What is the point of learning advanced math in school?

Does learning math make it easier to learn other subjects by exercising the logic section of the brain?

Update:

I have an engineering degree and the only math I needed was physics.

Update 2:

Energy engineering lol

You have an engineering degree and the only math you needed was physics?

You didn't need calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, statistics, etc.?

Perhaps there are things you could do in engineering if you knew those math subjects.

You probably don't need advanced math to get a job at McDonald's

There isn't a point. I actually basically did not use anything I learned in college ever for monetary gain at a job.
