Why don't we get rid of the police and just hire a guy wearing a batman costume?

    A while back ( over ten years ago ) there was a small group of costumed and masked vigilantes somewhere in the US who were acting like Neighbourhood Watch and would patrol the streets and try to prevent anti-social behaviour occurring.

    The authorities quickly shut them down after a few instances where they were assaulted and one guy even got shot.
