He came to Earth in human form, and allowed Himself to be tortured and brutally slaughtered so that we can experience eternal happiness and avoid damnation.

IT'S JUST THE OPPOSITE, GOD FOCUS'S ON LETTING YOU HAVE YOUR FREE WILL TO CHOSE JESUS AND SALVATION AND TURN FROM YOUR SIN USING THE GRACE THAT JESUS FROM THE CROSS GIVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US WHO WITH A HUMBLE AND SINCERE HEART TURN TO HIM FOR FORGIVENESS!!!

THE REHABILITATION COMES FROM THE PERSON WHO LOVES THEIR SINS MORE THAN GOD, GOD WILL NOT FORCE YOU NOT TO SIN AND SATAN CANNOT FORCE YOU TO SIN, SO IT IS UP TO THE PERSON!!!

FREE WILL TO WANT TO STOP SINNING AND STRENGTH FROM GOD'S GRACE TO MAKE SURE YOU DO.

IT IS NOT DONE OVER NIGHT BUT WITH CONTINUAL TURNING BACK TO THE LORD, YOUR STRENGTH GROWS MORE AND MORE.

NOTE THAT IF YOU RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION (WHICH IS THE GREATEST SOURCE OF STRENGTH AFTER CONFESSING YOUR SINS, AND PRAY DAILY, ESPECIALLY THE ROSARY.

YOU WILL POSITIVELY AVOID FUTURE SINS, THE TEMPTATIONS WILL BE FEWER AND FEWER AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHRUG THEM OFF BY SIMPLY MAKING THE SIGN OF THE CROSS.

THERE ARE NO AMOUNT OF SINS GREATER THAN GOD'S GRACE.

That is what this life in the flesh is all about, rehabilitation. We all have the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and strive to become a better person. If you do not care to learn or change your ways then you have wasted your opportunity to become a better person.

This life gives everyone the chance to rehabilitate themselves into a better person. What you do in this life shows God what kind of person you are, which allows God to righteously Judge you.

He doesn't.  Hell is never forever.  Rev. 20:12-14 shows that death and hell must both be emptied and destroyed (cast into the "lake of fire") so that the resurrections and final judgment can take place.  There is only finite punishment for finite sin.  God's love, justice, and mercy are all intact.

In fact, the vast majority of God's human children shall spend eternity far happier than they thought possible.

We have our whole lives to 'get it right'.  Don't be a whiny baby.

The Bible teaches reconciliation, Eph. 2, in the conversion process, 1 Cor. 15:1-4.  And it teaches "restoration" in Luke 15, "The prodigal son."

GOD love those sinners who knows that they have done wrong , as being the best sinners . since they have chance to repent and ask for forgiveness from GOD, but the worse sinners are the ones who keep on committing sins and never know that they are commuting it, by keep on repeating it, till their death, so they have no chance to ask for forgiveness from GOD, the Lord of all the worlds. So eternal damnation is for satan and his intimates who never ask for forgiveness from GOD .

Anyone who studies the God of the Bible sees that God's focus in on the honor of His holy name, of being true to His justice, His righteousness and His love (the latter two meeting at the cross and kissing, resulting in total 'rehabilitation' for those who accept that free provision of grace). Compared to the very few mentions of eternal damnation for those who reject God, it's clear that your claim is utterly wrong, so there's no way anyone can answer "Why" to that unfounded claim.

The person who spoke most about eternal damnation in the Bible is Jesus Christ, yet that was not the focus of His preaching. He majored on seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. In the last book of the Bible you will find warnings about the eternal damnation to come for Satan and his hordes and those who align themselves with his deeds of darkness instead of repenting and finding forgiveness. But apart from that, there is very little mention of eternal damnation. Below are all the Bible verses where Jesus warned us about that. Should take you all of ten minutes to read.

cause the men who created the god character for the story don't believe in mercy or forgiveness rather vengeance and punishment.
