Do Americans call movie a film?
- robert2020Lv 61 month ago
I always say movie. I live on the U.S. west coast. I say film in more formal writing. As in the phrase 'film school'. Why do British say ,"cinema"?
What country are you speaking about, that says movie?Source(s): Native American English speaker.
