Do supermarket oven pizzas have prebaked bread bases? Frozen or refrigerated ?
- Nikki PLv 71 month agoFavorite Answer
most frozen pizzas have a par baked crust so that the pizza does not get soggy.
If you watch pizzas made at places like Costco or Sam's they start with fresh dough that is then stretched out, sauced and topped and baked right away. The take and bake have raw dough as the base but they are intended for a short shelf life in the store. They can get a bit soggy if you leave them for a day or two before baking.

Yeah, there are some. But to ask at the deli counter. Take their advise.

It varies. They're not all the same.
Frozen pizza often has a par-baked crust.

Most of them are not pre-baked. Pizza dough does not take long to cook anyways, the dough for those pizzas is thinner with less topping and made to cook quickly in standard home ovens.
