Why didn't the first few Harry Potters that were PG get the Warner Family Entertainment logo?

Never understood that.

Here's my guess: the Wikipedia page for Warner Family Entertainment said they had a bunch of box office bombs in 1994 and 1997, and so they slowly stopped using the studio as much over the course of 10 years when it closed in 2007. Also at least one director refused the logo for his movie because he thought it implied the movie was for younger audiences. So my guess is that either Warner or Rowling's people thought that Harry Potter was a big deal high budget movie and wouldn't allow the Family Entertainment wing to be in control considering their recent substandard track record. So they probably mutually decided early on to have the main Warner Brothers studio be in control, maybe after it became sure that it would be live action.
