Will the pandemic still be going on like now in August?

Will everything still be the same as it now or worse by August?

It will be better but not over.  It's starting to wind down now that a lot of people are getting vaccinated.  But it probably won't ever be gone completely.

Covid will end but the government should open borders because of economic ( most of the economy is from tourism, international students)

E .g India has the world's second largest population and they are living in a normal life e.g borders are open for international travel... with the cases still there but it is reducing.

Other countries closing borders are gonna rek their economy.

Only if We The People allow it.

Some folks here are delusional, things are going to be worse by August... and it's going to be the same years later, the vaccines are useless...

With the way things are going, I doubt it.

At most, we might be able to take the first huge step into lifting the pandemic this year, especially in some countries, but not entirely.

I say the most likely timeframe with getting out of the pandemic is next year after the seasonal flu is over. So probably Jan or feb of next year. By then, majority of this pandemic would’ve likely have died down with the exception to some countries still playing catch-up for another few months.

But don’t expect the safety measures like social distancing and makes to go away next year.

It's really winding down, even now.  By August, there should be almost zero risk.

  • Depends on where you are and what case numbers are like. If the new case numbers are on the high side, it may still be the same in August.

In my area, they've started vaccinating people over 80, there might be fewer restrictions, covid may still be around but hopefully in fewer numbers of new cases.

If they would only give the shots in the butt, everyone would be sure to get them.  Wonder if they would make their butts SWELL BIGGER  !!!!!!!!!
