How much do I need to put down on apartment ?

    There is no Down Payment on apartments..............you rent apartments, however, a Deposit will be required and that is up to the landlord/manager.

    You don't "put money down" when renting. You pay a security deposit & there is no % or set amount. Each individual landlord decides what deposit they will charge.

    If you're looking to buy with a mortgage - 10% of the property value (minimum)

    depends but generally 

     1. First /Last month's rent and Damage deposit

    or 

    2. First and Damage deposit

    Typically it is one months rent...but you will have to ask because each place is different.
