Do I need a plan b if I have been on the depo shot for a year?

    Depo (provera) should cover you against pregnancy providing you go for your jab when you are due. Generally it covers you for about 13 weeks so appointments would be every 12 weeks. This is to cover you if you are late by a few days for said appointment. What it doesn't cover you against is sti/stds so a condom is advisable if you're sexually active.

    No. If you have kept up-to-date with the depo provera shots, then you are fully protected and there would be simply no reason to take Plan B.  Loading those extra hormones into your body unnecessarily could prove chaotic and throw you off balance for months.
