On unemployment do you have to prove you're going on interviews every week?

No.  You just have to prove that you applied for legitimate jobs.  I think they require that you applied for two, and if they ask for an interview, then you have to go on the interview.  They won't ask for your information every week.  After a few months, they may call you in to show all of your efforts over the last several months.

It depends on what state (and country) you're in.

In Texas, you have to have a certain number of job contacts in a week. The number varies. They randomly ask for proof.

    Contacts aren't necessarily interviews.

You usually only have to show that you're actively seeking a job by listing places you have applied to. It would be unrealistic to expect a person to get an interview every week.

    Unemployment where?

You might have to prove you are applying for x number of jobs. But no one is guaranteed an interview
