Do cops give you a ride home when you get DUI ticket or do they just leave you by the road to get a cab?

Like if you are pulled over, do they make you get a cab or do they just drive you home

Depending on the police officer they will most likely leave you on the side of the road and tow your car.

In my state there is no "ticket" for DUI.  The suspect is arrested and transported to jail.
